My first contribution to WordPress consisted of translating the phrase «Nothing to review here,» which was translated into Spanish (Costa Rica) as «No hay nada que reseñar aquí.» This contribution was submitted through the WordPress translation platform and later reviewed by a community editor, who approved the translation.
This experience allowed me to understand the workflow followed by the WordPress community, from the selection of a string of text to its review and approval. Furthermore, I learned the importance of analyzing the context of each sentence to ensure that the translation is clear, natural, and suitable for users in Costa Rica.
