One of the main aspects I had to address during the translation process was the handling of special characters, symbols, and variables present in many of the phrases. On several occasions, elements such as &, <>, /, «», %1$s, and %2$s appeared, which are part of the code or the structure of WordPress and should not be modified or translated.
To correctly carry out the translations, it was necessary to identify which elements corresponded to the text visible to the user and which should be kept exactly as they appeared in the original version. This allowed me to understand the importance of respecting the syntax and format of the strings to avoid errors in the operation of the site or the plugin.
